The GDS trade show in Düsseldorf, in cooperation with the Italian agency Honegger, launches a new event dedicated to selected international shoes and bags designers featuring an innovative concept. A preview of new designer collections are presented to the international market during the event.
40 designers applied for the “Design Trendsetter” contest.
20 designers have been selected by a special technical jury composed by: Veronique Branquinho, designer; Ernesto Esposito, designer; Simon Collins, Dean, School of Fashion, Parson; Giuseppe Baiardo, Board of Director Member Onward Luxury Group; Kirstin Deutelmoser, GDS Director, and Armando Honegger, CEO of Honegger company.
Admitted designers have been offered the opportunity to present their Fall/ Winter and Spring/Summer collections at the next two editions of GDS show that will be held in Düsseldorf from 4 to 6 February and from 29 to 31 July 2015.
